Civil Construction Foreman
Our client is a well-established civil construction company with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure, utility, roadway, and site development projects across New Jersey. With a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence, the organization continues to expand its project portfolio and invest in top construction talent.
Due to continued growth and an active project pipeline, our client is looking to add a Civil Construction Foreman to support ongoing and upcoming projects in the Harrison and Northern New Jersey market. Responsibilities include:
- Lead and supervise field crews on civil construction projects.
- Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, equipment, and material needs.
- Ensure work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Maintain a safe jobsite and enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Monitor productivity, quality control, and project progress.
- Coordinate subcontractors and vendors on site as needed.
- Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining project schedules.
- Complete daily reports and communicate project updates to management.

Qualifications include:
- 5+ years of civil construction experience with demonstrated foreman or crew leadership experience.
- Background in site development, underground utilities, roadway construction, grading, drainage, or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices.
- Experience managing field crews, equipment operators, and subcontractors.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Compensation includes:
