Civil Engineer in Training (EIT)

EIT will work under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer on a variety of projects including multi-family, single-family, commercial, and industrial developments, as well as utility infrastructure projects. Candidates will work in the office performing engineering calculations and operating CAD software. Team members will use a variety of technologies to effectively communicate with collaborators to achieve project goals.

Prerequisites:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Successfully completed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam
• Site development knowledge (basic grading and hydrology)
• Understanding of construction and surveying methods
• Ability to read and create construction plans
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Highly organized with the ability to keep accurate records and multi-task
• Passion for solving problems and working collaboratively
• Desire to continually learn and excel professionally
• Flexibility to work well in an office setting
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar
• Strong foundation of knowledge in Microsoft Office products
