Bring your civil-site expertise to a growing engineering firm focused on improving Tennessee communities through thoughtful design and measurable impact. This Civil Engineer opportunity in Nashville, TN combines leadership, project delivery, and hands-on design management across roadway construction and land development.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Engineerposition include:
- 5+ years of relevant experience preferred; minimum 5+ years on a varied background of projects including residential, commercial, mixed-use, campus/institutional, or public works
- B.S. in Civil Engineering with TN Professional Engineering license (P.E.) required
- Experience managing a multi-discipline / multi-company design team to keep projects on time and under budget, including budgets, schedules, and deliverables
- Leadership to guide design from inception through contract documents and construction administration to final inspection and acceptance
- Strong written and oral communication to coordinate with clients, contractors, outside consultants, and internal team members
- Knowledge to ensure compliance with regulations, permits, and environmental restrictions
- Experience with quality control/quality assurance reviews, analyzing coordinated plan sets and reporting deviations
- Proficiency with AutoDesk Civil3D; knowledge of construction techniques, TDOT/Metro/development specifications, construction documents, and project processes
Salary: $115K–$150K per year, commensurate with experience.
