We are seeking a Civil Tech Engineer / Civil Technician to join a growing and collaborative engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on civil design experience who enjoys working on practical, real-world projects and contributing to a fast-paced environment.
This position offers strong exposure to site development and infrastructure projects, with the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers and gain continued technical growth.
Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 base + bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and preparation of civil engineering plans and drawings
- Support site development projects including grading, drainage, and utility layouts
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D (or similar software) for drafting and design work
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and internal teams to ensure project accuracy and timelines
- Perform basic calculations and support technical documentation
- Review plans and assist with revisions based on feedback
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of civil engineering or civil technician experience
- Experience with site development, land development, or infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and similar design software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Nice to Have:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Exposure to local codes, permitting, or construction documentation
