Civil Estimator

• Prepare comprehensive project estimates for civil construction projects.
• Complete detailed quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications.
• Develop labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor pricing.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Analyze project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers, operations leaders, and field personnel.
• Assist with bid submissions and proposal development.
• Maintain accurate estimating documentation and records.

• Experience estimating civil construction projects.
• Strong understanding of sitework, grading, excavation, utilities, or demolition projects.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively under bid deadlines.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Heavy civil construction estimating experience.
• Quantity takeoff proficiency.
• Construction drawings and specification review.
• Cost modeling and bid preparation.
• Vendor and subcontractor management.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• HCSS knowledge preferred.
