Compensation: Competitive, Dependent on Experience (DOE)

About the Opportunity

A highly respected, established law firm with a growing regional practice is seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will possess deep experience managing litigation matters autonomously from initial inception through final resolution. Key Responsibilities

• Formulate, execute, and manage comprehensive case strategies for complex civil litigation matters.
• Oversee and conduct all phases of discovery, including drafting interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
• Take and defend depositions of key witnesses, parties, and experts.
• Draft and argue substantial motions, including motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment.
• Represent clients confidently in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Lead thorough trial preparations, including drafting pre-trial motions, brief writing, and preparing witness testimony.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 5–7 years of dedicated civil litigation experience within a private law firm environment.
• Practice Alignment: Prior experience in commercial litigation and/or defense litigation is highly preferred.
• Core Skills: Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Proven ability to handle cases independently while maintaining excellent communication with partners and clients.
• Credentials: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active, good-standing membership in the Idaho State Bar.
