We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of civil litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in discovery, legal writing, legal research, civil litigation, preparing pleadings and motions, appeals, and courtroom litigation. Responsibilities:

As a Civil Litigation Attorney, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Handling a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through trial.
2. Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
3. Representing clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals.
4. Conducting discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, taking and defending depositions, and managing document production.
5. Advising clients on legal rights and obligations, as well as potential legal risks and opportunities.
6. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve disputes without trial.
7. Collaborating with legal staff and other stakeholders to ensure the effective and efficient resolution of cases.
8. Staying up-to-date with the latest legal trends and developments to provide the most accurate advice and representation to clients.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Civil Litigation Attorney position, you must have:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar where practicing.
3. 1-10 years of Associate Attorney experience and a strong desire to go to court and try cases
4. Strong experience in discovery, legal writing, legal research, preparing pleadings and motions, appeals, and courtroom litigation.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments.
6. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively represent clients in a variety of settings.
7. A strong commitment to professional ethics and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
8. The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. A passion for the law and a strong desire to uphold justice.
