Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Location: This position is based in South Bend, Indiana. Attorneys should expect to be in the office the majority of the time initially, with hybrid flexibility available after training.
Note: Candidates should have a J.D., be licensed to practice law in Indiana or able to become licensed promptly, and have relevant civil litigation experience.

Job Description
- Handle a variety of civil litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, settlement documents, and client correspondence
- Conduct legal research and develop practical case strategy
- Manage discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, negotiations, and court appearances
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal team members
- Work on business disputes, contract litigation, employment matters, real estate disputes, construction issues, and related litigation
- Collaborate with partners and staff while independently managing assigned matters
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Indiana law license preferred, or ability to become licensed promptly
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience preferred
- Strong writing, research, advocacy, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage files independently and professionally
- Deposition, hearing, mediation, or trial preparation experience preferred
- Portable business is welcome, but not required
