Civil Project Engineer

Client Details

Our client is a well-established construction company specializing in civil infrastructure, site development, and underground utility projects. The organization is seeking a Project Engineer to support project execution, coordination, and field operations on a variety of public and private sector projects.

Description

• Support planning and execution of civil construction projects.
• Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and change orders.
• Assist with project scheduling, procurement, and cost tracking.
• Review plans and specifications to ensure project compliance.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to project leadership.
• Support quality control and jobsite safety initiatives.

Profile

• Experience supporting civil construction projects.
• Background in sitework, grading, excavation, and underground utility construction.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Engineering or construction management education preferred.
• Civil construction project engineering experience.
• Site development and utility infrastructure knowledge.
• Understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with project documentation and contract administration.
• Scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination capabilities.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
