Civil Project Manager

• Manage multiple utility and civil construction projects simultaneously from award through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
• Coordinate field operations with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Lead project meetings with owners, engineers, municipalities, and utility providers.
• Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid documents.
• Track project costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and contract specifications.
• Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain schedule and budget objectives.
• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support future business development opportunities.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to executive leadership.

A successful Civil Project Manager should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience within civil construction.
• Proven experience managing utility infrastructure projects, including water, sewer, storm drainage, force mains, or underground utility installations.
• Strong knowledge of construction schedules, cost controls, project forecasting, and contract administration.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and utility construction safety practices.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing competing project priorities.
