Civil Supervisor

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction professional to oversee and coordinate civil construction activities for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. This position is responsible for managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring project schedules, ensuring quality standards, and supporting successful project completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, excellent organizational and communication skills, and experience managing multiple construction activities in fast-paced industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily civil construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.

• Manage civil construction scopes, including earthwork, foundations, concrete structures, underground utilities, and site development.
  

• Coordinate subcontractors, construction teams, engineers, and other project stakeholders to maintain workflow and project progress.
  

• Review construction drawings, specifications, schedules, contracts, and execution plans to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  

• Track construction progress, identify potential delays, and coordinate corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
  

• Review subcontractor RFIs, submittals, inspection requests, work plans, and other technical documentation.
  

• Work closely with Engineering, QA/QC, Safety, and other departments to resolve field issues and minimize construction delays.
  

• Coordinate with clients regarding construction priorities, inspections, project requirements, and field-related concerns.
  

• Review Engineer of Record (EOR) drawings, revisions, comments, and specifications, ensuring necessary updates are communicated and implemented.
  

• Monitor construction quality and coordinate inspections, punch list completion, project turnover, and final handover activities.
  

• Ensure compliance with project safety standards, established procedures, and applicable construction requirements.
  

• Maintain accurate construction documentation, reports, and project records using the client's document management system.
  

• Identify opportunities to improve construction processes, efficiency, and overall project execution.

   

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction, preferably in a supervisory or construction management capacity.
  

• Strong understanding of civil construction practices, methods, materials, and field operations.
  

• Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings, specifications, schedules, submittals, and technical documentation.
  

• Experience coordinating subcontractors, managing field activities, and monitoring construction schedules.
  

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
  

• Ability to manage multiple projects or work packages while meeting deadlines.

  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  

• Professional certifications such as Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  

• Experience with CAD and 3D modeling software, including Revit and Navisworks.
  

• Previous experience working on semiconductor or other high-tech manufacturing construction projects.
  

• Background in industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, or large-scale factory construction.
  

• Experience supporting domestic or international EPC projects.

• Previous experience working with international or multicultural project teams.
