At Calnin & Goss, we believe successful projects are built through strong relationships, innovative thinking, and a passion for construction.

As a Civil Surveyor, you will serve as a key technical resource supporting roadway, utility, and land development projects throughout Wisconsin. Working closely with project managers, engineers, superintendents, foremen, and equipment operators, you'll help ensure accurate project execution by leveraging surveying, GPS, machine control, drone technology, and construction technology solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys collaborating with field and office teams, solving technical challenges, and helping others succeed through training and support.

In this role, you'll be responsible for integrating and verifying project data within GPS and machine control systems, troubleshooting field technology issues, and serving as a liaison between operations and engineering teams. We're looking for a technology-driven professional with experience in surveying, 3D surface modeling, Trimble Business Center, and civil construction practices related to roadway and utility infrastructure. The ideal candidate is humble, hungry, smart, reliable, and gritty—someone who embraces continuous learning, communicates effectively, builds trust through integrity, and thrives in a collaborative environment where innovation and teamwork drive project success. Travel throughout Wisconsin may be required to support active projects and ongoing professional development opportunities.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,0.00 - $95,000.00 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data.
