Civil Engineering Technician

Civil 3D and Microstation experience is required. Will be onsite 5 days a week then Hybrid.

Typically a minimum of 5 years related work experience.

This opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams within the Technology, Commercial & Industrial Market Sector, supporting Grid Solutions projects such as Substation and Overhead Transmission Line, while building critical civil infrastructure for today's and tomorrow's challenges. Civil Engineering Technicians contribute to the planning, design, and implementation of site development, including grading and drainage, erosion control, roadways, fencing, and underground utilities for these advanced industrial and commercial facilities.

The Civil Engineering Technician plays a key role in supporting the development of high-quality engineering deliverables for these complex infrastructure projects. Under general supervision, this position performs technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, with a focus on creating and modifying site plans, grading designs, and utility layouts using advanced techniques in industry-standard design tools such as Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation. Provides technical guidance and may offer direction to other engineering professionals and technicians to ensure quality and consistency across project outputs.
