    What You’ll Do
As a Claims Adjuster, you'll play a key role in helping policyholders recover after a loss by providing timely, compassionate, and professional claims service. You'll investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve first-party property claims of varying complexity while ensuring every claim is handled accurately, fairly, and in compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements. Working alongside internal teams, vendors, and policyholders, you'll manage claims from initial report through resolution, delivering exceptional service every step of the way. This role also supports catastrophe response efforts and requires flexibility to work extended hours during weather events when business needs arise.

    Key Responsibilities
    Investigate & Manage Claims
Manage a caseload of first-party property claims, including coverage analysis, damage evaluation, reserve management, claim documentation, and timely claim resolution. Handle more complex claims as experience grows, including third-party and litigated files.

    Deliver Exceptional Customer Service
Serve as a trusted resource for policyholders, contractors, public adjusters, attorneys, and other stakeholders by providing clear communication, claim updates, and guidance throughout the claims process while working toward fair and timely resolutions.

    Evaluate & Resolve Complex Claims
Prepare coverage determinations, coordinate appraisals and mediations, negotiate disputed claims, and identify opportunities for subrogation or potential fraud while escalating significant exposures and large losses when appropriate.

    Maintain Compliance & Quality
Ensure claims are handled in accordance with company best practices, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards. Maintain accurate documentation, support audit readiness, and leverage technology, including virtual inspections, to efficiently investigate and resolve claims.

    What You'll Bring
    • Minimum of 2 years of Florida property claims handling experience (role level may be determined based on experience).
    • Active Florida 6-20 All Lines Adjuster License.
    • Proficiency with Xactimate and XactAnalysis.
    • Strong analytical, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage escalated situations professionally.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple claims, work independently, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience preparing estimates, managing complex claim files, and delivering timely, accurate claim resolutions.
