What You'll Do

Claims Associate Training & Development

During the first two weeks of the internship, you will participate in training alongside our Claims Associate cohort, providing exposure to:

• Auto insurance policies and coverages
• Claims processes and workflows
• Industry terminology
• Claims systems and technology
• Overall claims operations

Auto Total Loss Support

Following training, interns will primarily support our Auto Total Loss team by:

• Reviewing vehicle photographs and available information to evaluate vehicle damage
• Assisting with Total Loss Valuations
• Supporting administrative and operational tasks that contribute to the team's day-to-day efficiency
• Assisting with projects that help improve workflow and customer service

Cross-Department Claims Exposure

Depending on business needs, interns may also have opportunities to support projects and initiatives across other areas of the Claims Department, gaining broader exposure to multiple lines of business.

Preferred Majors

• Insurance/Risk Management, Business, Agriculture, or another related field of study.

Preferred Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to organize information and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to review and interpret detailed information with accuracy
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
