Claims Processor

Position Title: Claims Processor - HYBRID 
Location: 4000 LUXOTTICA PL Mason OH 45040
Work Hours: Hours: M-F/Full-Time; 8-4:30 (30-Minute lunch)
Pay Rate: $ 22.55/hr on W2 Paid Weekly!
Preferred Start Date: 11/17/2026 
Duration: 6month(s)/ Extension is possible based on performance, attendance, and business need)

General Function

Accurately and efficiently process manual claims, adjustments, and other basic claims-related tasks. This role involves handling standard, non-complex claims that require a basic understanding of claims processing and adjudication.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Process standard claims and adjustments accurately and efficiently.
• Meet productivity, processing time, and quality standards.
• Assist with simple claims projects and other related initiatives as needed.
• Learn and apply processing changes related to new plans and benefit designs.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication when working with team members, supervisors, and internal clients.
• Collaborate with EyeMed Account Managers, Operations, Information Systems, Client Representatives, and leadership.
• Consistently meet or exceed performance expectations for productivity and accuracy.
• Work with the supervisor to develop an improvement plan if performance standards are not met.

Knowledge and Skills

• Basicknowledge of data entry and claims processing.
• Familiarity with computer systems and spreadsheet applications.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Ability to learn and work with systems such as EyeMed Claims, Metastorm, Exclaim, and EyeNet.
• Understanding of third-party benefits and administration is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain accuracy.

Experience and Qualifications

• 0–1year of experience in data entry or claims processing.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet productivity and quality standards.
