Claims Specialist
We support clients by keeping their insurance claims processing organized, accurate, and moving quickly through the right next steps. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing that day-to-day work.
What is the pay?
- $48,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience
- Individual performance-based bonus up to 10% of salary
- Company performance-based bonus up to 10% of salary

What will I be doing?
- Entering new claim details into client systems accurately and on time
- Reviewing claim files to confirm required information, documentation, and forms are complete
- Updating claim records, notes, and status information as new claim activity is received
- Following up on missing documents, incomplete forms, or other outstanding claim requirements based on client procedures
- Tracking claim activity and helping ensure routine next steps are completed on time
- Responding to routine claim-related questions and providing claim status updates as directed
- Preparing claim summaries, status reports, and other recurring client updates as needed
- Escalating complex cases through established workflows
- Following established processes to deliver consistent, high-quality claims processing support
What are the requirements?
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written communication, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Strong organizational, task management, and follow-through skills
- Comfortable working with insurance claims and related documentation across multiple client systems and workflows
- Able to review files carefully and identify missing information, incomplete documentation, or inconsistencies according to client procedures
- Fast, reliable internet connection and a distraction-free work environment
What additional qualifications could I have?
- 1+ year experience in claims processing or similar administrative support experience
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, project management tools, and AI productivity tools
