CDL A Truck Driver
Weekly Pay $1,300–$1,500 | Home Weekly | OTR | No-Touch Freight
Location: Richmond, VA 23223
Home time in this role is built into the schedule with a weekly reset, allowing drivers to maintain a consistent routine without sacrificing miles. The dispatch structure keeps trips organized ahead of time so drivers aren’t left waiting between loads or dealing with last-minute changes. This setup works well for drivers who want predictable time off while staying productive on the road.
Freight moves across nationwide lanes with a focus on refrigerated loads. Drivers handle no-touch freight, with a mix of drop and hook and live load depending on routing. Most runs are long-haul, helping maintain steady mileage and consistent weekly earnings. Routes are designed to keep drivers in active freight corridors rather than unpredictable areas.
Drivers operate late-model tractors with automatic transmissions paired with refrigerated trailers. Equipment is maintained on a routine schedule to minimize downtime. Many trucks include inverters and are set up with sleeper cabs suited for extended runs. Parking options include approved company locations or taking the truck home when safe parking is available.
Weekly pay falls between $1,300–$1,500 depending on miles and experience. Some fleets include a weekly guarantee along with bonus opportunities tied to safety and performance. Drivers may also earn detention pay, layover pay, and stop pay when applicable. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off after eligibility.
