Class A CDL Driver

K&S Tire Recycling in Chicago Heights, IL is hiring dependable Class A CDL Drivers for local and regional tire collection and transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate tractor-trailers and Class A vehicles
• Complete assigned pickup and delivery routes
• Transport tires and recyclable materials
• Perform drop-and-hook and trailer positioning as required
• Secure loads and inspect equipment
• Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate BOLs, manifests and service documentation
• Obtain signatures and required service photos
• Communicate delays, equipment issues and customer concerns
• Maintain clean, safe equipment and professional customer service

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to meet DOT/FMCSA driver requirements
• Tractor-trailer driving experience
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle inspections and safety
• Ability to complete paperwork/electronic documentation
• Dependable attendance and punctuality

Recycling, waste, drop-and-hook or local/regional transportation experience preferred.
