Description
Job Summary
A Truck Driver is responsible for transporting goods from one location to another. Their job duties include loading their vehicles, abiding by traffic laws and ensuring safe unloading and delivery at their destination. Drivers report to Logistics Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities
Class A CDL
CDL driver must have clean MVR & Criminal Backgrounds
Capability to secure and haul oversize loads in a timely manner
Comply with all safety, DOT and OSHA guidelines
Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment
Load, Unload & Secure Construction Equipment either manually or with the use of a Forklift
Properly track and document log sheets
Perform Pre Trip inspection before every trip
Knowledge of Flatbed with dovetail ramps
Ability to handle physical workload in various climates
Report to the designated Strack, Inc. office or headquarters each workday as required. All project transportation or driving assignments, if applicable, will begin from this location.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule (Some Saturdays required as well as out of town travel)
Required to pass Pre-employment drug screen

Must be willing and able to travel out of town, and/or out of state to work on job sites.
