Compensation & benefits

Primary responsibilities

  • Operate tractor‑trailer equipment safely and in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations (DOT, HOS).
  • Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections; document and report defects or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Secure and transport flatbed freight according to load instructions and securement best practices, including straps, chains, binders, and tarps.
  • Complete required driver logs, supporting paperwork, and electronic logging device (ELD) records accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch, operations, and customers regarding route status, delays, or incidents.
  • Report accidents, incidents, delays, and required maintenance according to company procedures.

Minimum qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL.
  • At least 1 year of over‑the‑road (OTR) driving experience and a minimum of 6 months of flatbed experience.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in flatbed load securement and cargo handling.
