We are seeking a _safety-conscious_ Class A CDLDriver to join our team at LeMay PCR in Frederickson, WA.
PAY AND SCHEDULE:
+ Competitive Wages range from $35.00 to $35.50/HR to start.
+ This position follows a four‑day, 4x10 schedule, working either Monday–Tuesday–Wednesday–Saturday or Tuesday–Thursday–Friday–Saturday, with start times between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Drive a tractor-trailer with a dedicated local route. Manual transmission is utilized in tractor/trailer equipment.
+ Possibility for training on Roll Off.
+ Perform routinevehicle inspections and maintenance, includingchecking fluids,safety equipment, and tires.
+ Ability to perform a physically demanding job, lifting to 50lbs regularly
+ Courteousinteraction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
+ Climbing in and out of the cab up to 40+ times/day.
+ The work environment involves exposure to physical risks, such as moving mechanical parts, which requires following basicsafety precautions.
+ The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and humid conditions, fumes, and vibration. The noise level is usually moderate.
+ Will be working in all weather conditions
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
+ ValidClass A CDL
+ High SchoolDiplomaor GED
+ Ability to learn and use interpersonal skills relating to qualitycustomer service
+ As verified by a current MVR/driver abstract, all qualifications as defined under DOT regulation 49 CFR 383.51 must be met.
+ We require at least three years of Class Acommercial drivingexperience, preferably with expertise operating 53' trailers.
+ Clean safety and driving record
+ Able to work in all weather conditions
+ Ability to deal with the physicality of the job with no issues.
+ Basic knowledge of truck components to complete pre-and post-trip inspections.
