Class B Delivery Driver

Responsible for the delivery of Pella window and door products to customers and also, providing general assistance in all phases of warehouse operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Drives vehicle to deliver product(s) to customers
• Manually unload product(s) from delivery trucks
• Collects COD funds as necessary
• Comply with safety requirements and procedures
• Perform standard work within time requirements
• Operate company vehicles in a safe manner
• Maintain good housekeeping

Additional Requirements

• Pass drug screen
• Pass pre-work ability screen
• Valid drivers license
• Must possess good driving record
• Regular/dependable attendance required
• Flexibility of work hours including overtime
• Able to work with and around moving equipment
• Work in a team environment with the ability to communicate in a concise, polite and respectful manner

Education and/or Experience

HS Diploma or GED and 1 year delivery experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Able to stand from half-kneeling X 10 reps
• Able to lift 150 lbs from floor to shins
• Able to lift 40 lbs from waist to shoulders X 10 reps
• Able to lift 80 lbs from floor to waist X 10 reps
• Able to carry 100 lbs continuously for 1 minute
