Clean Up/ Dishwasher

As a Dishwasher/Clean Up position at La Familia Cortez Restaurants, you are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the bakery. This role is fully independent and requires a self-motivated individual who can take ownership of all dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitation duties with minimal supervision at times. All dishwashing is performed manually, requiring attention to detail, efficiency, and consistency. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by other team leaders and/or managers at any time.

Responsibilities:

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, utensils, baking tools, trays, and equipment by hand.
• Maintain clean and sanitize prep tables, workstations, and surfaces.
• Maintain a steady workflow to support bakery operations.
• Sweep, mop, and take out trash throughout the shift.
• Address spills and hazards immediately to maintain a safe environment.
• Assist in deep cleaning tasks as needed
• Take initiative and maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness.

• Must be able to work weekends and Holidays.
• Food Handler Certification.
