Store Cleaner — Santana Row, San Jose, CA — Once a Month

North Co Commercial Cleaning is hiring one store cleaner for a retail clothing store (national brand) at Santana Row in San Jose. Store name shared after onboarding.

THE SCHEDULE

- Once a month, on the 20th of each month — same date every month

- First visit: Tuesday, October 20 — arrive 8:45 AM, start 9:00 AM

- The date is set — the store sends someone to let you in, so it doesn't move. Any change on your end needs 48 hours' notice.

PAY

- $80 flat per visit — supply pay built in (you bring your own)

- Time on site averages 1.5–2 hours, so roughly $40–$53/hr — could be a little less or more while you get a system down the first couple visits

- Paid 24–48 hours after checkout and manager confirmation, via Cash App

- Parking reimbursed only with a full receipt (date, time in/out, place, total)

THE WORK

Full store clean — sweep, dust mop, vacuum, and mop all floors including corners and edges; dust shelving, fixtures, ledges, and vents; wipe down counters and display cases; empty trash and replace liners; restroom if present; back room floors. Detailed checklist after onboarding. Before/after photos through your check-in link, and a walkthrough with the manager before you leave.

YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN SUPPLIES — nothing is stored at the store:

- Vacuum

- Mop and bucket (or flat mop with extra pads)

- Broom and dustpan and/or dust mop

- All-purpose cleaner

- Disinfectant

- Glass cleaner

- Microfiber cloths

- Dusting tool with extender

- Restroom cleaner

- Scrubber or deck brush

REQUIREMENTS

- 21 or older

- Prior cleaning experience — janitorial, commercial, housekeeping

- Own supplies and equipment

- Own reliable vehicle (rideshare/transit doesn't qualify — you're hauling equipment)

- Working phone with a camera

- Standard onboarding screening

This is a new area for us with no backup crew yet, so dependability and communication are the two things that matter most. No-shows are the one thing that ends the relationship.
