The Cleaning Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. This position ensures all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained according to company standards while supporting a safe, organized, and professional workplace.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all assigned work areas, common areas, and facilities.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain floors and surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and other common spaces.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
- Replenish paper products, soap, sanitizer, and other facility supplies as needed.
- Clean windows, doors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment as assigned.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and complete daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks.
- Safely use and store cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Follow all company safety, sanitation, and workplace policies.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or supply shortages to management.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as requested.
- Maintain a professional attitude and work effectively with team members and management.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- Previous cleaning, janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Work Environment
This position works in various areas of the facility and may be exposed to cleaning chemicals, varying temperatures, and moderate noise levels. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
