Cleanroom Assembler

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble, fabricate, and clean parts into subassemblies and complete units
• Test, calibrate, inspect, and certify parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
• Read and interpret blueprint requirements, including:
  • Epicor receiving and rejecting parts
  • Final inspection, exception identification, and document filing
  • Epicor verification, buy-off, and hard card stamping
  • In-process inspection and verification that all test certifications are included in the hard card
  • Measuring sealing surfaces and O-ring depth

Required Skills & Abilities

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to use hand tools, torque wrenches, and small power tools
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers
• Knowledge and proper use of calipers, torque wrenches, helicoil, keensert, and Lee plug installation tools
• Knowledge of testing and integration
• Ability to read wiring schematics
• Ability to follow blueprints and written instructions
• Ability to train and certify other assemblers
• Ability to maintain quality standards

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 5–7 years of manufacturing assembly experience preferred (at least 1 year preferred as a baseline)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods

Special Requirements

• Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Ability to wear cleanroom attire for cleanroom assembly
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods
