Avo Photonics is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. Members of our staff have the opportunity to design, prototype and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.

We seek a diligent, dedicated and meticulous person who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry through world-class customer service. The successful candidate must plan his/her own work schedule, keep multiple records, be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership of projects.

Specifically:

• Define, implement, and maintain cleanroom operations for ISO5, ISO7, and ISO8 production areas in continuous operation.

• Monitor and maintain particulate counting to ensure compliance with industry standards for contamination control.

• Maintain cleanliness through a regular cleaning schedule that includes the walls and floors of all cleanroom areas.

• Perform and log preventive maintenance on all HEPAs.

• Ensure strict compliance with cleanroom personnel apparel and material movement into and out of controlled cleanrooms.

• Monitor and maintain ESD flooring and station performance through regular checks and periodic floor maintenance.

• Maintain logs for temperature, humidity, particulate and ESD monitoring to verify compliance.

• Define and provide guidance to production management on proper adherence to clean room procedures related to personnel and station cleanliness.

Requirements:

• 3 years experience in clean room maintenance operations

• Associates degree in a technical field

• Experience with HVAC and HEPA filtration in an industrial or laboratory environment

• A perfectionist mindset, continuously striving for excellence

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
