Williams & Connolly LLP has an exciting opportunity for a Client Account Specialist II who is responsible for managing all aspects of the billing cycle for specific clients and attorneys, serving as the key point of contact for client billing and eBilling compliance. This role requires strong technical expertise in billing platforms, a deep understanding of client and firm billing requirements, and the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients. Under the direction of the Time and Billing Supervisor and the Director for Accounting Systems, Time and Billing, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Manage the complete billing cycle for both hard copy and electronic billing matters, including preparation, review, editing, and finalization of prebills/invoices;* Ensure compliance with firm and client-specific billing guidelines and matter engagement letters, including firm policies, client engagement letters, and outside billing guidelines;* Implement and maintain electronic billing for new and existing clients, including establishing and maintaining e-billing rates and assisting billing attorneys in submitting timekeeper rate tables for approval;* Review and verify the accuracy of billing and supporting expense documentation as required, including but not limited to reconciliation of receipts and expenses;* Act as the primary point of contact for client billing inquiries, providing prompt research, resolution, and follow-up.* Partner with attorneys to handle client-specific billing needs, including alternative fee arrangements, customized billing formats, and rate requests;* Prepare and distribute weekly, quarterly, and year-end reports for clients;* Provide prompt and efficient Aderant technical support to billing secretaries and attorneys in all facets of the billing cycle to ensure billing accuracy and expediency; and* Maintain high productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume billing environment.

Four to five years of experience of client billing in a similarly sized law firm with proficiency of electronic billing via Datacert, Counselink, TyMetrix, Collaborati, Legal Tracker and Allegient etc. Prior experience using Aderant Expert and Appshell with specific expertise in billing, client/matter management, quicklook inquires, reporting and billing rate management. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required; proficiency in other MS Office applications preferred. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required. Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities with strong attention to detail and accuracy. This is a non-exempt position. The hours are 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Overtime may be required. The ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs is required. After successfully completing the introductory period, the candidate will be eligible to work the department's approved hybrid schedule.The anticipated hourly wage for this position is $48.70 - $53.84, which equates to $90,000 - $105,000 on an annual basis based when working the standard 1,950-hour annual work schedule. The final offer amount is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, education, and other relevant skills and qualifications.
