A growing and relationship-focused public accounting and advisory firm in Tennessee is seeking a Client Accounting Services (CAS) Manager to join their team. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee client accounting and outsourced accounting engagements
- Review financial statements, reconciliations, month-end close processes, and general ledger activity
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and provide ongoing advisory support
- Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and operational accounting needs
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards
- Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement best practices
- Collaborate with tax and advisory teams to provide a high level of client service
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Prior public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Experience in Client Accounting Services (CAS), outsourced accounting, or related accounting leadership role
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting operations
- Experience managing client relationships and leading teams
- Proficiency with accounting software platforms and Microsoft Excel
- CPA preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
