Client Advisor, MTM Specialist

Reports to: Boutique Director

Overview: As a Client Advisor for our new Madison Avenue Flagship, you will be the face of our Maison, embodying our heritage and values as a customer-facing brand ambassador. This pivotal role is dedicated to delivering an exceptional level of care and service, ensuring every client enjoys a VIP experience and a truly memorable visit. You will be instrumental in driving commercial success, upholding the Maison's exacting standards, and contributing to the flagship's reputation as a key global destination. A profound passion for menswear, tailoring, and an affinity for heritage luxury are essential, as you will convert this passion into genuine client interest and successful purchases through expert styling, personalized advice, and dedicated clientelling.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Experience, Service Excellence & Styling:

• Provide an unparalleled, personalized luxury experience to every client, ensuring each visit is memorable and exceeds expectations.
• Act as a trusted advisor, anticipating client needs and offering solutions with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
• Provide expert wardrobe and lifestyle styling advice, assisting clients in building comprehensive and sophisticated personal collections.
• Champion a client-centric approach, fostering a welcoming and exclusive atmosphere within the boutique.

Brand Ambassadorship & Product Expertise:

• Serve as a passionate and knowledgeable brand ambassador, articulating the Maison's rich heritage, craftsmanship, and unique story.
• Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of our menswear collections, tailoring techniques, materials, and lifestyle offerings.
• Translate your passion for luxury menswear into compelling narratives that resonate with discerning clients, driving interest and desire.

Sales & Commercial Performance:

• Actively engage with clients on the sales floor to drive sales, achieve individual and boutique sales targets, and contribute to overall KPIs and commercial success.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, expertly guiding clients through our diverse product range, including ready-to-wear, accessories, drawing room and specialist services.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to all company and Group policies and procedures.

Clientelling & Relationship Building:

• Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with high-value and VIP clients through proactive clientelling activities.
• Manage and execute client appointments, ensuring a tailored and exclusive experience for each individual.
• Maintain accurate client profiles and preferences to personalize future interactions and communications.

Boutique Standards & Operations:

• Ensure the sales floor and personal client areas are impeccably maintained, reflecting the Maison's exacting standards of visual merchandising and cleanliness.
• Assist with stock management tasks, including receiving, replenishment, and organization, to ensure product availability and presentation.
• Adhere to all operational guidelines, security protocols, and health & safety standards.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work collaboratively with the entire boutique team, including the Assistant Boutique Managers and Boutique Director, to ensure a seamless client journey and operational efficiency.
• Provide valuable client feedback and market insights to the management team to inform product development and service enhancements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a client-facing sales role within luxury retail, preferably menswear, tailoring, or high-end lifestyle.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a high-service environment.
• Exceptional clientelling skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships.
• Profound passion for luxury menswear, tailoring, and an understanding of heritage brands.
• Expertise in styling, wardrobe consultation, and providing personalized fashion advice.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently and articulately with a discerning clientele.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic luxury retail environment.
• Proficiency in retail POS systems and client relationship management (CRM) tools.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
