Client Executive

Authority Partners is hiring a Client Executive with a genuine hunter mindset to build out our presence in the San Francisco Bay Area and West Coast market. This is a pure new-business role. You'll generate your own pipeline, open new logos, and win strategic opportunities in technology consulting and custom software development.

Key responsibilities

New-business development

• Build out the Bay Area and wider West Coast market by generating pipeline through proactive prospecting, outbound outreach, networking, events, and referrals.
• Identify, target, and win new logos in the technology consulting and custom software development market.
• Run the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, discovery, solutioning, proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Develop and execute a territory plan, prioritizing target accounts and verticals with the highest potential.
• Land initial engagements and set them up for expansion, partnering with delivery and account teams to ensure a smooth handoff and strong first impression.

Across the role

• Collaborate with delivery and solution teams to shape offerings and proposals that fit prospect needs.
• Stay current on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging buyer priorities, particularly in the Bay Area tech ecosystem.
• Represent Authority Partners at industry events, meetups, and conferences, traveling as needed.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare pipeline updates and quarterly forecasts.

What success looks like

• Quota: Carry an aggressive first-year bookings target driven entirely by net-new business.
• Pipeline: Consistently build and maintain a healthy, qualified, self-generated pipeline at a strong multiple of quota to ensure predictable, sustainable attainment.
• New logos: Establish Authority Partners as a recognized name in the Bay Area market, with a growing roster of new clients and a clear path to expanding each one.

What we are looking for

Required

• 7+ years of B2B sales or business development in IT services, technology consulting, or custom software development, with a clear focus on new-logo acquisition.
• A demonstrable track record of opening new accounts from cold or early-stage relationships and consistently meeting or exceeding quota.
• Proven ability to self-generate pipeline rather than relying primarily on inbound leads or inherited accounts.
• Experience selling complex, solution-based services with multi-stakeholder buying cycles.
• AI fluency, with hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance prospecting, sales productivity, and workflows.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or another major US metropolitan area, and eligible to work in the US.

Preferred

• An established network within the Bay Area tech and software development ecosystem.
• Experience selling nearshore/offshore or blended delivery models.
• Familiarity with a modern sales methodology (e.g., consultative or value-based selling).

What we offer

• Competitive base salary
• A competitive, deal-based commission structure rewarding performance on all closed business
• A comprehensive benefits package and a fully remote work model
