Schedule: 4-day work week with 8.5-hour shifts and rotating Saturdays

Eastown Animal Hospital is a small animal general practice that has cared for pets from Des Moines, Pleasant Hill, Runnells, Altoona, and surrounding communities for over 80 years. We're looking for a full-time Client Service Representative to join our dedicated team.

What You'll Do

• Welcome every client and pet with a positive greeting
• Answer phones, take messages, and answer client questions
• Schedule patients using our practice management software, Tail-o-Phone, and Vetstoria
• Generate invoices, collect payments, manage cash boxes, and make bank runs twice a week
• Manage email and mail, and scan and process client paperwork and medical records
• Manage pet insurance claims
• Know the hospital's full range of services and provide estimates as appropriate
• Educate clients about our online pharmacy
• Communicate with veterinarians and support staff about client and patient needs
• Deliver excellent customer service to every pet owner

• Availability for rotating Saturdays
