Rutter Mills, LLP, a leading personal injury law firm in Hampton Roads, is seeking a dedicated, client-focused individual to join our Front End Department. This position plays an important role in supporting current and potential clients while helping deliver the exceptional service Rutter Mills is known for.
Schedule: Full-time Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
Locations: On-site, Norfolk, VA

The ideal candidate is reliable, personable, an excellent communicator, and an empathetic, attentive listener who is comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional client service to current and potential clients, visitors, and referral sources with professionalism, warmth, and empathy.
- Manage incoming and outbound calls with accuracy, patience, and a positive phone presence.
- Collect, verify, and document client information while maintaining accurate, organized records.
- Communicate effectively with clients, referral sources, and team members to ensure timely follow-up and a positive client experience.
- Provide backup front desk coverage as needed, including greeting clients, visitors, and walk-ins and assisting with their needs.
- Balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Follow firm procedures and maintain confidentiality in all client interactions.
Qualifications
- You must consider exceeding client expectations a priority.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate potentially detailed and complex information to others.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing priorities in a professional manner.
- Bilingual a plus!
