    We are seeking a compassionate, high-energy Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing team. As the first and last face our clients see, you will manage front-desk operations, coordinate patient care schedules, and provide exceptional customer support to pet owners. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong multi-tasking skills, and has a genuine love for animals.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Client Relations: Greet clients warmly, check patients in/out, and manage the waiting area flow.
    • Communications: Manage a multi-line phone system, monitor emails, and triage incoming emergency inquiries.
    • Scheduling: Coordinate appointment calendars for wellness exams, surgeries, and urgent care.
    • Financial Processing: Review cost estimates, process payments, and balance the daily cash drawer.
    • Medical Records: Update digital patient files and input correct medical history data.
    • Compassionate Support: Provide empathetic guidance to owners during high-stress situations or emotional end-of-life choices.

    Job Requirements

    Experience:

    • Minimum 1 year of veterinary front desk experience preferred but not required
    • Outstanding verbal communication, conflict-resolution abilities, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to stand for long periods and remain calm around animal noises, unpleasant odors, waste, or potential bites/scratches
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
