Kapiolani Medical Specialists (KMS) is a specialty physician group dedicated to caring for Hawaiis women and children through excellence in academics, physician training, medical research and clinical care. The group is comprised of over 100 Specialists, Nurse Practitioners and other staff, covering newborn to womens health services at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children. KMS operates exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes, offering highly specialized care options at Kapiolani and building support for these services within Hawaii as a whole. The group's specialty areas include: Neurology, Orthopedics,Genetics, Adolescent Medicine, Otolaryngology, Behavioral Health Services, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, Pediatric Intensive Care, Family Medicine and the full spectrum of Pediatric Specialties. Its Womens specialists include Breast and General Surgery, Adult Hospitalists and GYN Oncology.

The Kapi'olani Childrens Specialty Center offers comprehensive medical care for children and young adults on O'ahu, Maui, Moloka'i and the Big Island of Hawai'i with complex medical problems ranging from developmental and behavioral difficulties to neurological disorders. The Center was developed to meet the needs of young people and to assist families in caring for them. The Center is staffed by a highly specialized team of medical professionals, each experienced in pediatrics and working with families, and in using evidence-based practice in multidisciplinary health care.

You could gain valuable first-hand clinical operations and health care experience as a Clinic Assistant. In this role you would perform routine tasks ranging from monitoring supplies to administering health care to patients of all ages to supporting departmental staff. Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.

Preferred Qualifications: Basic medical Terminology. Completion of medical assistant program and/or equivalent experience.
