About the Job

We're looking for an experienced, compassionate Medical Assistant to serve as our Center Operations Manager (COM).

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll actively work alongside your team, performing Medical Assistant duties while managing daily clinic operations, supporting staff development, and ensuring quality patient care.

Position Hours: 40 hours per week

Work Schedule: Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 8 AM–6 PM | Tuesday & Thursday: 8 AM–5 PM | First & Third Saturday: 8 AM–12 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide hands-on patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, performing phlebotomy, EKGs, and injections.
• Support primary care and occupational health services, with training provided as needed.
• Assist providers with patient visits, clinical procedures, and documentation
• Lead daily health center operations while working alongside your clinical team
• Coach, develop, and support staff, including scheduling and performance management
• Coordinate clinic workflows, inventory, and operational priorities
• Monitor clinic performance and maintain compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and AAAHC standards
• Partner with providers and area leadership to improve efficiency, teamwork, and patient satisfaction

What You’ll Bring

• Registered/Certified Medical Assistant or 5+ years of MA experience
• Strong phlebotomy skills with recent, hands-on experience required
• Current clinical experience with EKGs, vital signs, capillary testing, and injections
• Current classroom-led American Heart Association BLS or CPR certification
• 3–5 years of healthcare leadership experience preferred, or 2+ years of CareATC health center operations experience
• Experience with EMR and practice management systems
• Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills
• Occupational Health experience preferred, but not required; willing to train
