Job Responsibilities
Work under the direction of the Course Coordinator, Dean of Health Science, or the Assistant Dean of Nursing who assigns clinical responsibilities according to student needs and course objective.
Participate in clinical instruction as designated by the Course Coordinator, Assistant Dean of Nursing, and or Dean of Health Science. Supervise and assist students in clinical laboratory experience. Select clients for student clinical experience.
Attend and participate in meetings as scheduled by the Course Coordinator to assure consistency of course content with clinical experiences. Adhere to course and program objectives and collaborate with the Course Coordinator in developing appropriate clinical experiences. Participate in the student's clinical evaluation process.
Utilize appropriate instructional resources to facilitate student progress toward meeting objectives. Evaluate student progress and maintain appropriate records.
Review the curriculum and specific course content to facilitate student progress toward meeting objectives.
5.Adhere to the policies, procedures, and standards of WTC, Department of Nursing - Nursing Standards of Care and Code of Ethics.
Must submit and maintain CPR certification (must include adult/infant/child CPR, 1-2 man rescue, AED training, Heimlich maneuver, BLS and American Heart Association (AHA). Must maintain TB screening, physical/titers/immunization/vaccines annually. Must submit evidence of clear background check and drug screens as well as evidence of Care Learning.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Bachelors degree in Nursing and active license as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina or another compact state. Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as a Registered or Advance Practice Nurse related to field of primary responsibility.

Masters degree in Nursing and active license as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina or another compact state. Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as a Registered or Advance Practice Nurse related to field of primary responsibility
