We are seeking a self-motivated, highly organized individual to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and writing skills and demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork, problem-solving, and maintaining a positive, professional work environment. This position requires an individual who can effectively support the clinical team on a day-to-day basis by performing administrative and operational tasks that can be safely completed without an extensive clinical background. The Clinical Administrative Support Staff member will function as an integral part of the team and work under the supervision of the agency's clinical leadership. This role is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring flexibility, initiative, and the ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities. The number and variety of tasks associated with this position are extensive and may evolve based on the needs of the agency and clinical team.
Abilities Required:
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Update and monitor Plan of Care (POC) to ensure that physician signatures are within the recommended time frame of 30 days.
Maintain communication with clients and physicians as needed to ensure that each Plan of Care signed by a physician is within the required 30 days.
Communicates directly to the the DON or designated clinician on regular basis for POC's approaching 21 days without a signature from the primary care physician.
Assisting in faxing or emailing plan of care and completing daily tracking form • Receive RN monthly, recertification, admission notes, 60 days summaries and submitting the information to a designated clinical staff.
Maintain a comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment for clients and staff. • Must be able to communicate effectively with the clinical team and provide daily updates on any outstanding POC and other issues that are reported by clients, physician office or the home health aide.
Perform other administrative tasks such as answering telephones and transferring to other HHA personnel.
Incident report entered into the electronic medical records within 24 hours of first hearing of the incident,
Assisting on reporting incidents is limited to hospitalization,
+R visits and other minor incidents as directed by the Administrator from time to time.
With clinical supervision, follow up with incidences involving reported covid-19 infections and follow Agency protocol currently in place.
Other Administrative tasks as prioritized by the HHA clinical department.
Valid CPR Card
Annual Physical and PPD required.
Police Clearance
Excellent oral, telephone and written communication skills
Good organizational/interpersonal skills and attention to details
Ability to function independently, as well as to integrate in teamwork.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of client's information (HIPAA)
Strong computer skills and knowledge of data entry software(s).
Knowledge of Microsoft ACCESS, EXCEL and WORD preferred.
At least High School Diploma but College Degree preferred.
Ability to perform daily duties according to 1\1BI-HHA policies and procedures
