Clinical and Administrative Leaders are trained into House Supervisor and One Call positions.
House Supervisor supports oversight for all inpatient nursing department operations and identifies solutions for any issues that arise related to inpatient care.
Some of the responsibilities encompass:
One Call coordinates provider to provider communication related to patients that need transfer to Sanford Bismack. One Call also supports transfers out of facility needing flight transfer.
Position is for 24 hours per week (2, 12 hour shift), rotating day/night shifts. 2 holidays per year. 16-18 assigned weekends per year. Weekend assignments are made for a year at a time.
Position requires candidate to have 1 year Clinical Care Leader experience and minimum of 2 years inpatient medical experience within the last 5 years and proficient in advanced clinical assessment, effective communication, conflict resolution, staff leadership, and decisive problem-solving.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
