About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated
Clinical Assistant - Foot Care Tech to support a specialized foot and ankle practice. As a Clinical Assistant, you will work closely with our podiatrist to provide high-quality foot care for our patients. This role requires a blend of clinical precision, physical stamina, and a compassionate approach to patient care for people of all ages. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a podiatric medical environment, the ability to pivot easily from task to task, and can consistently show up on time, ready to work hard and learn a lot with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:- Perform professional nail care services under direct supervison of our Podiatrist
- Assess nail and skin conditions and recommend appropriate interventions
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation in compliance with state regulations
- Build and maintain strong patient relationships to encourage patient retention and patient satisfaction
- Collaborate with Physician, Medical Assistants, and Front Office to provide excellent foot and ankle care services
- Assist the Physician with various aspects of patient care as needed
Requirements:- Previous experience as a Nail Technician preferred
- Proficiency in using professional pedicure tools such as dremel, nippers, and files preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to stay on a predetermined time-schedule
- Open to learning new tasks and information
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional, friendly, and team-oriented demeanor
- Desire to learn clinical skills of a MA or CNA in a specialized clinical environment
- Ability to pivot from one task to another quickly while remaining calm
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift or support up to 50lbs to assist patient movement.
- Desire to ask questions to understand all aspects of training
- A Growth Mindset
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or similar training
