Facility

Fort Yuma Health Care Center is an IHS facility serving the Quechan Tribe and surrounding Native American communities. Located at 401 E. Picacho Road, Winterhaven, CA 92283.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and urinalysis
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection/processing
• Maintain quality control and quality assurance programs
• Ensure compliance with CLIA regulations and laboratory standards
• Document and report results accurately in laboratory information system

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science or related field
• ASCP certification (MLS or equivalent)
• Current California CLS license required
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years clinical laboratory experience preferred
• IHS or rural healthcare experience preferred

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. No call, no weekends.
