About the Role: The Neighborhood Clinic in Mesa, AZ is looking for a compassionate and skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team. Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures
Record patient vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints accurately in the EMR system
Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sanitation and supply stocking
Administer injections, vaccinations, and perform phlebotomy as directed
Process and manage lab specimens, referrals, and prior authorizations
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical safety standards
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant diploma or certificate preferred
CMA (AAMA), RMA, or equivalent medical assistant certification preferred
1+ year of clinical medical assistant experience in a healthcare setting
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software
Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills including vital signs and injections
Excellent bedside manner with a patient-centered approach to care
Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire
