About the Role:
The Neighborhood Clinic in Mesa, AZ is looking for a compassionate and skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team. Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures
  • Record patient vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints accurately in the EMR system
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sanitation and supply stocking
  • Administer injections, vaccinations, and perform phlebotomy as directed
  • Process and manage lab specimens, referrals, and prior authorizations
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical safety standards
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant diploma or certificate preferred
  • CMA (AAMA), RMA, or equivalent medical assistant certification preferred
  • 1+ year of clinical medical assistant experience in a healthcare setting
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software
  • Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills including vital signs and injections
  • Excellent bedside manner with a patient-centered approach to care
  • Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire
