    Job Description

    Indiana University Health and The Department of Psychiatry at Indiana University School of Medicine are seeking a Neuropsychologist to join our growing team in Indianapolis, IN! The IUSM Department of Psychiatry, Division of Psychology is staffed by a large number of psychologists dedicated to providing high-quality clinical care in the context of cutting-edge research and education. Opportunities are available for clinical supervision of trainees, didactic teaching, and participation in research, against a backdrop of clinical excellence. Psychologists work with colleagues in supportive multidisciplinary teams. Professional development and growth opportunities are abundant.

    The faculty psychologist will provide clinical services in a multidisciplinary context, working with physicians, APPs, and other health care providers. Clinical services will consist of psychological testing, psychotherapy, consultation, and treatment planning for patients with a history of traumatic brain injuries and other neurotrauma. In addition to clinical services, the psychologist will be expected to provide some education to trainees. Research opportunities may be available.

    Position Details

    • Full-time
    • Monday through Friday; 8am-5pm
    • 28-32 hours direct clinical services expected
    • 100% outpatient work
    • Work location: IU Health Neuroscience Institute, downtown Indianapolis, IN
    • Patients with a history of traumatic brain injury or other neurotrauma, who are experiencing resulting symptoms of neurocognitive processing, loss of function, psychological distress, or behavioral disorders.

    Qualifications

    • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) 
    • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Clinical Psychology
    • HSPP Required
    • Completion of Neuropsychology Post Doc Fellowship
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
