    Description

    Position Overview

    Under general direction, the Clinical Nurse delivers high-quality patient care, supports providers during procedures, and ensures accurate documentation and safety in a collaborative clinical setting.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide continuous high-quality nursing care, monitor patients, and respond effectively to changes in condition or emergencies.
    • Collaborate with the care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
    • Support procedures clinically (including IV access), verify patient readiness and safety checks, and act as patient advocate and liaison with physicians and families.
    • Educate patients and families, deliver clear discharge instructions, and ensure physician clearance before discharge.
    • Maintain accurate records, vital signs, and documentation; audit charts as needed.
    • Uphold safety, infection control, radiation safety (badges, equipment inspections), controlled-substance inventory, and all regulatory standards (Joint Commission/AAAHC, HIPAA, CDC, state).
    • Foster a positive team environment through mentoring, clear communication, and problem-solving.
    • Assist with supply inventory/ordering, equipment readiness, and quality-program integration.
    • Stay current through training and professional development; perform other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Associates Degree in Nursing or LPN certificate from an accredited program.
    • Current RN or LPN license in the state of practice (or compact-eligible); proof required.
    • Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
    • Strong communication, customer-service, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and on a team.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet tools; solid knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, remain calm under stress, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
    • Flexible schedule and professional appearance/demeanor at all times.

    Travel Requirements

    • Reliable transportation is needed because some travel may be required.
