Role Summary
As a Clinical Nursing Administrator at Howard University Hospital, you are the on-site nursing leadership presence when hospital administration is off-site — coordinating staffing across every patient care unit, guiding patient placement and flow, and serving as the clinical and administrative resource that keeps the hospital running safely around the clock. You will make real-time staffing and patient-placement decisions, resolve operational and clinical concerns as they arise, and champion the patient-safety and staffing-effectiveness standards that define exceptional care at a DC Level 1 Trauma Center.
