LURH is the only rehabilitation hospital in the state accredited in six programs by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and accredited by DNV-GL.Explore Career Pathways for Pharmacy Professionals: ResponsibilitiesThe clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care, including drug dispensing, IV admixture programs, and providing drug information. Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff. QualificationsJob Requirements: B.S. or PharmD. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy. Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy. Other applicable state requirements - i.e., sterile compounding, etc. ALS/ACLS certification (required within 90 days of hire; ALS/ACLS required for attending Code Blue). BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.Preferred Job Requirements: Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy. 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
