Job Summary

Initiates, implements and maintains a variety of research protocols with hospital, sponsor, and regulatory guidelines with the goals of contributing to the advancement of medical therapeutic and diagnostic techniques, and enhancing the research group''s ability to acquire research funds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters degree in a health care field. Some roles can be performed with an Associate level degree, with significant health care training.
• Registered Nurse in CT may be required for some projects.
• Demonstrated clinically competence with patient related measurements and high degree of accuracy with respect to documentation and data collection.
• Demonstrated initiative and excellent organizational skills in planning and executing study logistics.
• Experience in a clinical area, e.g. Nursing, Nuclear Medicine, etc.
• Ability to use time efficiently. Outstanding interpersonal, communications, negotiation skills and enthusiasm. Ability to work independently yet use good judgment in seeking advice when necessary. Knowledge of research methodology, data analysis, statistical analysis and associated software is preferred.
