Clinical Research Coordinator

Our client, a biotechnology company based in Boston, is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support ongoing clinical trials on a temporary basis. This role manages day-to-day trial operations, from participant scheduling to data collection, and works closely with principal investigators, sponsors, and regulatory staff to keep studies on track.

The coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate case report forms, ensuring protocol compliance, and serving as a primary point of contact for trial participants. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple study timelines simultaneously in a fast-paced research environment.

This is a temporary assignment with the possibility of extension based on study needs and performance. The role is based on-site at the client's Boston research facility, located in the Longwood Medical Area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient recruitment, screening, and enrollment for clinical trials
• Schedule and conduct participant visits according to study protocols
• Maintain accurate and complete case report forms and source documentation
• Ensure compliance with IRB requirements and FDA regulations
• Collect, process, and ship biological specimens per study protocol
• Communicate with sponsors, monitors, and regulatory bodies as needed
• Track study timelines, budgets, and enrollment targets
• Prepare for and support internal and external audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing, or related field
• 2 or more years of clinical research or healthcare experience
• Working knowledge of GCP and FDA regulatory requirements
• Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
• Experience with electronic data capture systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple studies and deadlines simultaneously
• CCRC or CCRP certification preferred but not required
