Job Description

This role involves patient-facing activities, including recruiting, screening, and obtaining consent from patients for clinical research studies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and screen patients for clinical trials.
• Obtain informed consent from participants.
• Conduct chart reviews and pre-screening of patients.
• Manage and enter data accurately for clinical research purposes.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication and documentation.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in clinical research processes.
• Ability to conduct thorough chart reviews.
• Experience with pre-screening patients for clinical trials.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology.
• Efficient data entry skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Intelligence and technology proficiency.
• A learning mindset with the initiative to learn independently.
• Phlebotomy skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with research terminology.

Work Environment

The work environment is within the fields of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, where you will oversee 60-90 studies alongside a team of 21 staff members, primarily Clinical Research Coordinators.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $33.00/hr.
